ABOUT MUPC

Over the past 14 years, the Premier Cup tournament has travelled the globe and seen a lot of changes. What started out as European regional tournament in 1993 has grown into one of the largest and most prestigious football events of its kind.

Over 900,000 players have taken part in the tournament since its inception, with over 8,000 teams from more than 40 countries competing each year to represent their nation at the World Finals.

In 2003, Nike partnered with Manchester United to continue the excellent tradition of Premier Cup sharing a passion for the beautiful game and a commitment to be the best. Since then the Manchester United Premier Cup World Finals have been held in the United States, Manchester and Hong Kong.

In August 2007 the World Finals of the Manchester United Premier Cup will be staged in Manchester. We look forward to welcoming 20 of the best U-15’s teams from around the world to the MUPC World Finals this year.

The Manchester United Premier Cup is the chance for football crazy kids from around the world to come together and play on an international stage, share in the experience of bridging the language and cultural barriers through sport.
